We see opportunities instead of fears

Our contributions are approaches to solutions for discussions on the basis of scientific responsibility.

More important than ready-made answers is asking the right questions.

Narratives instead of solutions are not an option.

Just as AcadREx works on an interdisciplinary basis,

global society should also find ways
to reach viable compromises
through joint and respectful dialogue.

Every year, we therefore address some of the most pressing issues facing global society.

In our working groups, we seek to analyze

opportunities and threats in equal measure and contribute proposals for dialogue.

In the spring of each year,

we present our work at a public conference—
held each year in a different city at various cultural and regional venues—
and call for a critical and willing to compromise debate.

Impact

It would be a pleasure if you could become a member of AcadREx,
we need all support which is possible for the realization of our lighthouse projects in Haiti, Nigeria and the Philippines.

The focus now is on launching additional working groups.

This is best done in collaboration with universities, which could, for example,
organize a seminar for a semester addressing a current issue in cooperation with AcadREx.

All members are encouraged to consider such collaborations.

We work with working groups from diverse cultural and regional backgrounds

that explore intercultural and interdisciplinary approaches

to building a resilient and proactively responsible society.

Welcome to join our team!

In the coming years, we will expand on our two main areas of focus
and put these ideas into practice through selected projects around the world.

To do so, we will rely on local partners who are familiar with the situation on the ground.

Implementation

Plannings regarding implementation are currently underway with

Nigeria (Enugu), Haiti (Port-à-Piment), and the Philippines (Caraga Region).

Our present working groups:

1) Medical prevention: AI and new ways of health care for mind and body

– How can prevention be culturally sensitive and be made culturally sensitive and relevant?

– How can AI and digital systems be used ethically and effectively for prevention, incentives and evaluation of healthy lifestyles?

2) Social resilience in the global society: The Rediscovery of Dialogue in our World

– A wake-up call for the rediscovery of free discourse as the basis for success and security.

– Which consensual rules guarantee comprehensive dialog capability?
